What is the real name for split sole ballet shoes?
Ive been doing ballet for a month, my teacher told me im going on pointe in one year, and i used to have full sole ballet shoes, but she told me to get split sole ballet shoes cause they help you pointe better. I just bought them their great. But im wondering, whats the real name for split sole ballet shoes? And what do they do?
they are normally called split sole
there is canvas and leather textures
i am on pointe but i have to take a class on flat so i use them
they help me pirouette and poinnte better
they give you more space to extend your feet
i can pointe to the ground and not most people can do that anyways the split soels help me pointe them the full soles sort of keep you from that
i can now do a triple on pointe becasue of my split soles
