I'm having a sweet 16 and that's what I want to do, but I'm not sure if I want to buy a huge gown and only wear it for the first hour.
I also think that's a waste. If you only want a gown for the hour, you could see about renting one? Or just get some really nice dress that you can wear again. I don't think a sweet 16 is -that- big of a deal, but if you don't want to waste the money...get a nice dress.
