you are not. just water them when its not sunny b/c when you water it when its hot it will just dry off the water. but when you water it when its cool, it will absorb the water.

We have a semi–shady area where we are starting a new flower bed. Would astilbe be a good plant to try there? Astilbe are so beautiful but I have tried them in a couple of places that are full sun and they just do not seem to do well there.
