If one has perfect vision, is it bad to use reading glasses?
My friend's vision is a perfect 20/20, but since a certain video game came out, he's been curious about wearing reading glasses. He showed me a pair at magnetism +2.50, and they look very stylish. Will they destroy his eyesight? Normally I just laugh at him about stuff like this, but he likes to play sports, so that would suck for him to turn blind.
It won't make him turn blind, but when he looks through them he will get REALLY blurred vision, like everything is magnified and your about to pass out, lol.
If he really REALLY wants them (which he sounds like he does!) then either pop the lenses out or ask the shop if they've got any for people with perfect vision.
He shouldn't make his eyesight temporarily bad for style/fashion, it could give him serious headaches.
