Where can I find more information about rare cognacs and scotch whiskeys?
I have several interesting bottles of cognacs and scotch whiskeys left by a friend of the family; unopened. I was wondering where I can find out more about them! I have a Burberry "Oldest Reserve Scotch Whiskey" Aged 25 years in a very nice case with a crystal stopper. Also a 15 year Special Reserve Chivas Regal bottle, as well as some special Camus and Courvoisier bottles. Can anyone help me find out more like how much they're each worth? Thanks!

Chivas don't have a 15 now at least, only 12, 18 and 25. The 18 is $60 retail.
First, I would try inputting each name separately into Google, being TOTALLY accurate with spelling and everything else, and trying different word combinations. Then, contact a dealer if you can find one on ebay. Then, put them on Craigslist if you really want to get rid of them. Just guessing: a really rare, good scotch blend might be worth from $50 to $100. If that...maybe. Ditto cognac unless there is something really special there.
But they are probably best kept as souvenirs and for imbibing on special occasions.
