My grandmother has a large collection of Coats, shawls, scarfs, muffs, capes etc all dated pre 1920's. I personally hate the fur trade however, even i realise that these are probably worth a lot of money if sold to the right person/ company and i mean because if nothing else they are antiques.

Vintage and antique shops deal in furs. Have them valued by a local dealer (if they aren't sure of the value they'll put you in touch with someone who will). You could then either auction them or sell them to the dealer. Fur isn't popular in the UK so you may not be able to make their full value. It might be worth while looking into the Italian market. Fur is extremely popular there. Good luck vintage furs are very beautiful x
