Our wedding is not completely theatre themed but seeing as how he proposed on the stage of the Fox Theatre in St. Louis and my life revolves around theatre, I wanted to tie in something involving theatre. I can see your problem, and I think I may have a solution. A music box however isn't it. Each music box weighs over a pound and is much larger than the pictures make it look. The base is almost nine inches (15ish cm) long, and it is rather heavy.
I suggest last year's (2007) Carlton Card's Christmas Ornament, as it is much smaller, and lighter. The base is less than two inches wide, and it is about the size of a typical wedding cake topper. It also shows a still of a promo of the wedding scene, and would be appropriate for the occasion. You can find it on ebay for around $25.
